Introduction

A cookie, also known as an HTTP cookie, web cookie, or browser cookie, is used for an origin website to send state information to a user's browser and for the browser to return the state information to the origin site. The state information can be used for authentication, identification of a user session, user's preferences, shopping cart contents, or anything else that can be accomplished through storing text data on the user's computer.

This tutorial is basically designed for those guys who operate internet on their Android smartphones and they want to clear the cache or cookies from their android phone. So this tutorial explains you how you can clear the cache and cookies from the browser that comes by default with the android smartphones.

Notification : This tutorial is designed for the browser which comes by default with the Android phones. If you are using any 3rd party browser that you downloaded from the Android Market (such as Opera or Firefox), then these steps won’t clear the cache and cookies from those browsers. 

Clearing the Cache and Cookies from Android Phone

Step 1 : First of all, Open the browser and click the Menu button on your phone. Tap the More option. 

Step 2 : Now, Tap Settings option

Step 3 : Next, Scroll down to the Privacy settings section and tap the Clear cache option. 

Step 4 : Next, Tap OK button when prompted. 

Step 5 : Now tap the Clear all cookie data option. 

Step 6 : Again, tap OK button.

Step 7 : That’s All, Now the cache and cookies have been deleted completely from your Android browser.
